When John and Cat met in 2006, two very different horse worlds collided...

The Trinity Ranch was founded in 1991, by Dr. John Parks, whose concept of perfection on earth was the unspoken bond shared by his "Trinity" - a cowboy, his horse, and his dog. John enjoyed starting colts, cowboying, and branding out West.

Cat was a College equitation instructor, and University Equestrian Team Coach, running a 75+ weekly student program. John and Cat started a few colts together, a partnership was born, they have been together ever since.

In early 2008, the unthinkable happened. Cat was diagnosed with a rare cancer. She spent nearly a year doing chemotherapy and treatment with John by her side. Following her recovery, John and Cat made a promise to one another to branch out to share their knowledge with others.

Today, John and Cat travel across the United States teaching horsemanship clinics. They combine John's experience with colts & problem horses with Cat's national-level show experience and years of teaching in an academic setting to provide a highly individualized clinic that addresses the development of the horse's training through better understanding and skill development of the rider. When not on the road for clinics or shows, John and Cat's time is divided between their two equestrian facilities: The Trinity Ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico and their ranch headquarters in Texas, where they breed and raise a few quality AQHA horses, run cattle, and enjoy their Corgis. Their son Pierce is the highlight of their lives.
